The glam was back this year at the Oscars, and thank goodness for that!
Also, the range of great gowns was just rich! That much is obvious from all of the favorites I have listed here. I liked all of these dresses.

Rachel McAdams in a great Elie Saab strapless gown from the Spring 2010 Haute Couture collection.
Demi Moore in a nude colored silk organza gown with tons of ruffles from Atelier Versace.
Queen Latifah wore a lovely lavender satin gown from Badgley Mischka Couture.
Maggie Gyllenhaal wore a blue satin gown from Dries Van Noten.
Sarah Jessica Parker in a pale yellow silk gown from Chanel. Honestly, I don’t think you get the full impact of the dress unless you see it from the front and back, so here it is for you.

Kate Winslet was a bit more subdued with shimmer in an Atelier Yves Saint Laurent bustier evening gown.
Sigourney Weaver wore an elegant one-shoulder dress from Lanvin.
Carey Mulligan wore a Prada bustier gown embellished with Swarovski crystals.
